Spent the afternoon cycling along the Hai River in Tianjin — just following the water and stopping wherever the light looked good. The river cuts right through the old and the new: colonial-era buildings with a century of stories in their facades, and bridges that all seem to have their own personality, some ornate, some minimal, each one worth a second look.

There’s something about moving slowly through a city on a bike — you catch details you’d miss from a car, and you can just stop, mid-ride, when something catches your eye. A few of my favorite frames from the day below.
